First of all, Thank you, Thank you, Thank You! To the
Drew clan for helping letterboxing come alive in S.E.
Connecticut. People like you folks are the ones who
make it more letterboxing interesting thus driving the
visibility, interest and following of the hobbie.
I introduced my girlfriend to letterboxing yesterday,
she loved it. We started at the Hopeville pond box
and made our way out to Mt Misery and the Fathers day
box, via the Natchaug trail. I have not used that
trail in about ten years, WOW it was spectacular. It
helped turn three short boxes into an all day
adventure! Bob Disch had mentioned this last week and
if someone has a good portion of a day to kill it was
worth it. I suppose it could be done in about three
hours if you don't meander and you leave a car in
Patchaug and one in Hopeville.
One quick question, is the Fathers day box going to be
a permenet box or a temp. If it was a Temporary box I
was thinking it coould be changed or added to the
"Significant Tree" series. Are there any other Tree
Boxes beside the one in Norwich?
The letter box in Hopeville is changing. When I was
stamping up yesterday a State truck pulled in and
dumped dirt over the rocky area in front of the big
pine, so the clue will have to be changed.

Take it easy everyone:

Stan

Looking forward to new Mass. boxes. If only it stops raining soon! I have one
more box to post also (actually it's not mine, it's my sister Betsey's) - hope to
get it on our page soon.

Well, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, Stan for your encouragement! We
really give the credit for New England letterboxing to Tom Cooch and
Sarah Fearing, who have done more than anyone else to keep it
visible, fun, and free.

Now about that construction at Hopeville Pond.....

There's plenty of boxes there that you haven't found yet :-)
BTW, a second person has found VF#3, they can't be _that_ hard ...
